Programs for Levels Pre-K through Post-Graduate

Programs for levels pre-k through post-graduate

  • On site at Crane House
  • Asia workshop on choice of one specific country (China, Japan, Korea, India) or a general Asia workshop combining any of above countries.
  • Program components–sample menu (inquire about other activities)
    • Culture slides or video: age-appropriate, with interactive Q& A discussions
    • Discovery Box artifacts: hands-on exploration of cultural objects
    • Foods and eating: discussion of foods display and table etiquettes
    • Asia Gallery: interactive discussion of historical and contemporary artifacts of East and South Asia
    • Chinese music: interactive discussion of instruments display and hearing
    • various instrument sounds
    • Hands-on activities: writing numbers, papercutting, paperfolding/origami, festival-related, folk dance, literature-based activities, etc.
  • Off-site (local, regional, statewide, interstate)
    • Asia workshop on choice of one specific country (China, Japan, Korea, India) or a general Asia workshop combining any of above countries.
