Crane House Blogs
Crane House is unveiling new blogs that share the experiences we help to promote. We hope you enjoy interacting with our friends and colleagues and through that interaction get a better understanding of the world around us.
Teaching in Asia
Crane House is particularly pleased to send teachers to Asia this year for participation in its annual Teach in Asia Program. Not only will they have memorable, life-changing experiences - they now have the chance to share their thoughts and feelings with readers both here and abroad. Crane House is hosting a collective blog for any TIA teacher who wants to take a moment during their busy day to reflect. We are also pleased to have a teacher, Kathy Greene sharing her experiences as well. We invite you to follow these bloggers as they explore Asia, education, and blogging!
Student Abroad
Crane House is also hosting a blog that will follow intern, Christian Potter (left), as he studies Mandarin Chinese at Peking University in Beijing this fall semester. Christian's blog will focus on learning the Chinese Language and the experiences of an American student in China. Blogging is one component of Christian’s Gilman Scholarship Follow-on Project.
Local Artists
We will also follow the experiences of 7 young artists working on an animation to teach others about a very innovate chapter in Japanese Art History: Anime.
